I just had the surgery a week and half ago. My surgeon opted for general anesthesia – I was home the same day without pain. I have not had any “pain” – just a slight tenderness. I do side sleep – so I had to adjust from one side to the other. I wish I hadn’t waited to have the surgery (six years post acoustic neuroma surgery). I can’t for the next appointment with the audiologist to be fitted with the Ponto hearing device.
